President's Message

Welcome to the official site of the Arkansas Chapter of the American Planning Association!

Now in my second term, I am honored to continue to serve as Chapter President until December 31, 2018.

The APA AR Chapter offers two conferences a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The 2018 spring conference is March 15th & 16th in Little Rock. Click here for event and registration details.

Please continue to share the benefits of APA membership and communicate with us what is going on in your community. Let us know what we as a Chapter can do to better serve the Arkansas planning community.

As always, thank you for your time and support of the APA Arkansas Chapter!

About Us

Planning a bright future for Arkansas’s natural and built environment.

The Arkansas Chapter of the American Planning Association is a professional organization representing practicing planners, officials, and citizens involved with urban and rural planning issues within the State of Arkansas.

Our members are involved, on a day-to-day basis, in formulating planning policies and preparing land use regulations. The objective of the Arkansas Chapter is to encourage planning that will contribute to the public well-being by developing communities and environments that more effectively meet the needs of Arkansans.
